A project born out of an accidental A4 misprint from a standard inkjet printer. The misprint featured a singular dot on the upper left hand side of the paper and 8 evenly spaced vertical lines at the bottom.

Presented by chance with a set of the most basic compositional elements, the project questions how this strict data set can be carried forward into different outcomes.  From a suite of print reconfiguring this visual suite into various different combinations, to a book which uses the original misprint as a the design guide for it’s layout grid.
