The replica frames which makeup ‘Takeoff (Pressed)’ give it an artificial surface. This pixelated cloak creates opportunity for ideas to be concealed beneath it.

An artwork hidden within an artwork, ‘Stunlock’ represents an act of tampering which occured during the edit process for the work ‘Takeoff (Pressed)’. 

It exists concealed on the bland looking A4 information sheet, the design of which imitates the kind often seen in commercial galleries. Printed in half tone and legible only when backlit by the projection screen; what is often a throwaway component of an exhibition is used as an active material in this work.
