The work was made to show at Hedingham castle: a medieval tower which has cut into the East Anglia skyline since 1140.
At the time, the sky was an unexplored terrain. Tall structures like this carved pockets of space in the atmosphere, bringing people up into the clouds.
Hundreds of years later the sealed capsule of a plane pierces through that same atmosphere, once considered unreachable. The view from inside is captured by a passenger onboard.
